Abuja officially called AMAC (Abuja Municipal Area Council) a local government of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the city capital of Nigeria. People aroud the environs loves to associate themselves with it. Places like Marraba, Suleja, Zuba etc. This places are neighbouring places from another state close to the Federal Capital just like Otta and Shagamu is close to Lagos and people sometimes mistake it for Lagos but they are located in Ogun state. So is Suleja where the Gurara falls is located. Suleja is a place in Niger State very close to Abuja like the Zuma rock. Abuja is know for rocks like the Aso rock nevertheless, Zuma rock which is one of the most unique rocks (It has a face of a human), is often confused to be located in Abuja but it is located in Niger State. Tomorrow the 18th of August happens to begin the 2 weeks world renowned festival celebrated in Nigeria for more than 600 centuries called the Osun Festival. Many Osun worshippers and tourists from around the world come to witness the festival in Oshogbo Osun state Nigeria. Being present there gives aesthetic pleasure. History has it that the first monarch of Oshogbo Oba Gbadewolu Laroye had a treaty with the goddess of fertility called Osun (Oshun). She reside in fresh waters unlike yemaya who stays in salty waters. Some refer to her as goddess of fresh waters. She was to proctect his people, bring fertility and prosperity to the land and she would be celebrated and given sacrifices yearly. Rumor has it that she do appear as a mermaid to the people on the day of the sacrifice. Vacation is not a culture among most people in life. Going on vacation does not necessarily makes one lazy. It helps calm stress and promote a good and healthy condition for work again. We are planning a vacation trip this year in Africa. We shall be going to Ghana and Nigeria. In Nigeria hopefully 22-27 of December we shall be going to Cross River State. They are nicknamed peoples Paradise and proud themselves as African Warmest Welcome. We shall be Visiting Obudu Cattle ranch which is located in the city of Obudu Cross River State (CRS). Many confuse the ranch resort to be located in Calabar the city capital but far from it. It almost 206 miles to the state capital almost 6hrs sitting in the bus.
