Big Brother 9Ja Season 5 Last Party

 Yesterday, Biggie organized the last Saturday night party of this season BB9ja show (season 5), it kinda took the form of America high school prom for some housemates. Old evicted housemates were invited to the party and everyone wanted to bond again.



Women are really funny, but going out to see things outside the little confinement (bb house) would broaden ones sense of understand about women. Ozo was predicted to end up in the top 5, perhaps win the big brother show; but was evicted a week to the grand finale. I believe fans got tired of watching him fruitlessly chasing Nneji and constantly ignored. Why don't you take a cue from Laycon, he took a shine at Erica and she politely turned him down and went for some rich guy in the house. He still kept his pride as a man and look up to him leaving outside. Many of the ladies would be all over him because his appearance on the show would make him a celebrity. One should learn how to deal with rejection, there is a saying that goes, "the beautiful ones are not yet born", if you reject me now, you give me a chance to wait for more beautiful once in future.


Now we see another side to this Ozo and Nneji story. Nnegi doesn't want Ozo and she doesn't want to be ignored by him. She cried after the party, saying most of her friends ignored her at the party including her best friend Ozo. There's something about being with family especially that of mine. Some how, they would do there best to talk you out of rejection. I trust Ozo's sister (my own opinion oh), would have told Ozo, "if you go into that party, forget Nneji exist".

I didn't watch the party, maybe would watch the finale, but she broke out in tears and got consolation from the housemates. Matters of the heart, how can you explain it?

Today ends (wraps up) the season 5 of the Big Brother Naija show this year with the winner returning home with the grand price. Many already voted there favorite housemates. Congratulations to those who emerged the top 5, Vee, Neo, Dorathy, Nneji and of course Laycon. Social media and many predicts Laycon would be the winner but they are all winners because all of them already have money they would claim after the end of the show. 

Just our little amebo for today, looking forward to meeting most of this newly made celebrities in town. So for now, stay safe, take care of yourselves and each other.

Olumo Rock

One of the state in Nigeria with an anthem is the Abeokuta state; which has produced notable heroes of Nigerian. Names like  MKO Abiola, Funmilayo Ransom Kuti, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Olusegun Obasonjo, Awolowo etcetera are offsprings of that dear state. There again is situated a very notable rock in the heart of the Egba people the city of Abeokuta called Olumo rock. The meaning of Abeokuta in Yoruba language (one of the languages spoken by the Nigerian people), means under a rock. History has it that whenever there is a war, (guessing inter-tribal wars), It was said to be a fortress and some worship it (the rock) as Orisha (an idol). Ovia Osese is a festival celebrated Annually by the good people of Ogori in Kogi state. Since this blog is about hanging out, I need to give a little description on how to get to Ogori from Abuja. If you’re driving with a comfortable speed, getting to Ogori shouldn’t take more than 3 hours. You go through Gwagwalada, straight down to Abaji which we know it’s still a local government under FCT.
