The Voice 2020

The voice Nigeria is one of the music talent hunt show to help showcase Nigerians young talent. Now the season 3 of the voice show which is usually hosted by Airtel Nigeria is having a new twist; as First Bank and Baba Ijebu is joining in the sponsorship.


The game or reality show brings well recognize artist called the coaches to the program, artist like: waje, Yemi Alade, 2baba, Patoranking, Tim Dakolo and for the time, the show would be introducing Falz the bad guy and Darey. We have rumors that season 3 would commence on the 1st of November and registrations is going on right now.


The show is been televised on African magic showcase or urban. It starts by young talent undergoing a blind audition. The coaches would back the contestants and hear them sing, if anyone appeals to any of them, they would hit there buzz to pick them as a mentee. If there's a tie in the interest of the coaches over a contestant, the  contestants have the right to choose who he/she wants as a coach, out of the tie. Each coaches is entitled to just 4 contestants which he/she would make them compete against oneanother. The weakest link is eliminated by the coaches, if other coaches see them as someone they could mentor, they can save the individual, leaving the best to each coaches to the mercy of the viewers to vote for who would win the ultimate price.

It's another voting or home participation television reality show again coming up in a couple of months; you really do not have to miss it. It would be  another season of fun after the Big brother Naija Season 5 reality show. God willing, maybe the physical and social distance issues that doesn't allow one to participate live in TV reality shows would be waved, hangout Nigeria would do her best to lobby on how to get ticket to the live show for a considerable price. Olumo Rock

One of the state in Nigeria with an anthem is the Abeokuta state; which has produced notable heroes of Nigerian. Names like  MKO Abiola, Funmilayo Ransom Kuti, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Olusegun Obasonjo, Awolowo etcetera are offsprings of that dear state. There again is situated a very notable rock in the heart of the Egba people the city of Abeokuta called Olumo rock. The meaning of Abeokuta in Yoruba language (one of the languages spoken by the Nigerian people), means under a rock. History has it that whenever there is a war, (guessing inter-tribal wars), It was said to be a fortress and some worship it (the rock) as Orisha (an idol). Worshippers of it told a prophecy long time ago that after the 10th king, the city would experience notable development, call it rumours or whatever you like, the city is way different from the way it used to be long ago, maybe prophecy was fulfilled or time brought the development would be a choice I'll leave you to make. Ovia Osese is a festival celebrated Annually by the good people of Ogori in Kogi state. Since this blog is about hanging out, I need to give a little description on how to get to Ogori from Abuja. If you’re driving with a comfortable speed, getting to Ogori shouldn’t take more than 3 hours. You go through Gwagwalada, straight down to Abaji which we know it’s still a local government under FCT. Then one get to kogi state. If you’re scared of meeting new people,  you better consider other hobbies rather than hanging out. If one ask around, one would locate the town Ogori. The Ovia festival was heard this year the 19th of May, 2019. The festival is celebrated to welcome young female maidens to womanhood.
